PALO VERDE NATIONAL PARK GUAITIL
Duration full day starting at $95
We leave in the morning to arrive at the Tempisque River Basin where
we catch a boat for a two hour trip into the Palo Verde National Park.
The lowlands and marshes create the perfect conditions for the largest
concentration of waterfowl and wadding birds in Central America.
This is a birdwatchers paradise as well as a perfect spot to see lots of
big crocodiles. There are three different types of monkeys hanging
from the trees. After the boat trip we have a delicious typical lunch.
In the afternoon the following tours can be added on to Palo Verde
since they are in the same area. These prices are in addition to Palo
Verde National Park tour:
Santa Cruz and Guaitil: Visit the local town of Guaitil where the people
make indigenous “Chorotega” Indian pottery. Then visit the Folkloric
Capital of Costa Rica, Santa Cruz where you can do some shopping.
$20 per person.
Guanacaste’s Beaches: This is an afternoon tour to visit nearby beaches
like Brasilito, Flamingo Marina, and Potrero. You will see how different
the beaches are in this area, with different colour sands and surf.
$25 per person.
