Cecilia Moyano is one of the colorful people who calls Playa Tamarindo her home. She moved to Tamarindo in 2001, spending her first two years getting a feel for the town and searching for the perfect locale for her upcoming business project. In 2003, Cecilia opened Coco Beauty Spa in the El Diria Plaza, located in the heart of downtown Playa Tamarindo. Born in Cordoba, Argentina, Cecilia decided to name her new enterprise in honor of her mother, whose nickname was Coco. She also considers the name Coco to represent, like Channel, all things feminine, stylish, and that certain something more.
Cecilia has an eye for detail, something she inherited from both her parents, along with her individuality. She knows that these are things that differentiate her from other spas in the area. “This business reflects my soul. It is my passion,” she explains.
Coco Beauty Spa offers distinct Argentinan beauty supplies and an array of treatments that are as unique and individual as its owner. Massages and body treatments are specifically tailored for individual needs, and include healing stone massages, aromatherapy message, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, a very memorable four-hand massage conducted by two |masseuses, Royal Thai Herbal massage, and a romantic couples massage that includes flower petals on you beds and two glasses of sparkling wine.
Coco Beauty Spa also offers a thirty minute mini-facial, an extended facial, which includes steam, exfoliation, hydrating massage and mask, or an ultimate facial that also includes the aromatherapy using the finest in Swiss essences.
The body treatments are a true indication of the versatility at Coco. Choose from a body wrap of tropical papaya or aloe vera, chocolate (!) or natural clay.
